This blog is about my personal programming endeavors. I intend to post random notes and experiences from programming tools I play with every day. I don’t know how it sounds, but my intended audience is myself. I used to keep notes in private wikis, but, other people might find these posts interesting or helpful and share some thoughts.
My general interests include programming, parallel/distributed programming, web services, computing grids, clouds, CUDA, OpenCL, OpenMP. My focus is to apply this parallel/distributed zoo to combinatorial optimization problems, more specifically in timetabling, employee rostering and other human resources scheduling. Also, I’m interested as a user in agile software development, continuous integration and relevant tools. Finally, I have to manage my computing systems and clusters myself, so I’ve gained many practical skills in IT administration. As a result, my posts will be a mixture of experiences while trying to learn new tools, experiences trying to present tools to others and mostly experiences I would like to keep notes for myself for future reference.
